Our company is looking for a Shipping associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Additional tasks as needed;
  • Preparing boxes for shipping;
  • Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel;
  • Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received;
  • Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items;
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned;
  • Performs material transfers in a computer warehouse management program;
  • Perform manual operations to assist in order processing and storage of materials;
  • Work in a warehouse environment as an individual contributor within a tightly knit team environment;
  • Loading and unloading boxes;
  • Loading boxes onto trucks;
  • Maintaining shipping records;
  • Comparing invoices to shipments;
  • Pulling product from warehouse to fill orders;
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience;
  • Must be energetic and love to work in a fun environment while being able to remain productive;
  • Strong attention to detail is a must;
  • To apply you must be at least 18 years of age;
  • High school or equivalent education required;
  • Must pass e-verify, 10-panel drug test, and a national background check;
  • Must pass drug screen;
  • Can lift 60+ lbs;
  • 18+ years old;
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with scanners, printers, and computers;
  • Ability to speak and read English;
  • A resume and interview with the client is required;
  • Must have great communication skills, be detailed-oriented, and consistency;
  • Must pass background check;
  • The candidate will need to be able to occasionally sit, stoop, crouch, climb, and balance, and will be frequently standing and using hands.
