Wallwork Truck Center Parts Counter Sales Professional
Wallwork Truck Center is seeking a Parts Counter Sales professional to join our team! This is a customer-facing role, so we are in search of a candidate with great people skills, a customer-first attitude, and at least one year of heavy-duty part sales. This role requires a basic understanding of computers.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 12pm 9pm. Pay is $25$33/hr. with commission. Annual potential of 50k+ for the right candidate. We offer various benefits, employee discounts, and paid time off (PTO)!
Job Summary
The Parts Counter Sales position performs a variety of customer service, in-store, marketing, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories. This position contributes to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the parts department. This position has ongoing responsibility for assisting with the counter parts sales and customer service responsibilities.
Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
One year experience in automotive or heavy duty parts industry and/or sales.
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Basic computer skills
Supervision of Others/Decision Making Aptitude (If Applicable)

Essential Functions and Accountabilities
Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales.
Maintain customer goodwill.
Verify receiving shipments by checking order against packing list.
Assist in keeping parts area stocked and orderly.
Follow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to parts manager.
Supply service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
Must be able to do heavy lifting of equipment parts and tools as required from time to time.
Able to follow directions from a supervisor.
Able to interact effectively with co-workers.
Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player with the department.
Able to understand and comply with posted rules and procedures.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
