You Will Be The Restaurant Server serves Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner consistent to the high standards set by Neiman Marcus.

What You Will Do Serves assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner

Utilizes thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology, to provide detailed information to customers about menu items

Leverages knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, including technical and service procedures

Participates in daily pre-shift meeting

Executes pre-shift, post-shift, and daily and weekly duties as assigned by supervisor

Cleans and maintains restaurant and workstation

Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to:

Clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks

Punches in before and out after every scheduled shift

Follows established procedure for schedule and shift changes

Coordinates holiday, vacation, and any time off with management while considering the needs of the restaurant

What You Will Bring High School diploma or GED preferred

Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines

Thorough knowledge of order of service and proper placement of table settings (e.g., china, glass, flatware), food, and beverage as indicated by the kitchen ticket and the guidebook

Thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology

Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills

"Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
