Description:
Oncology skills checklist is required.
Ten RTO days maximum approved.
RTO is not allowed during the following time periods:
June 28 - July 9,
September 2 - September 12,
October 25 - November 4,
November 22 - December 2,
December 20 - January 3.
Flexibility may be considered for harder-to-fill positions.
Shifts are nights, with various days of the week required.
Weekend coverage may be necessary based on unit needs.
The ideal candidate must float within scope to meet facility needs and may float to sister facilities as required.
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 on day shifts and 1:5 on night shifts.
Ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs.
Candidates must have prior experience in environments with flexible staffing ratios.
Staffing and scheduling may include interdisciplinary support services.
Patient demographics will primarily consist of adults.
Other duties include administering chemotherapy and managing patient care related to oncology.
