Compensation:
Local Pay Rate: $55 - $61/ hr on W2
Travel Weekly Gross Pay: $2288 - $2432/ week (Includes taxable and non-taxable amount)
Job Summary:
Grady Memorial Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Prepare operating rooms and ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
Respond effectively in emergency and trauma situations.
Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as required.
Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license (Georgia or compact state license).
Minimum recent Operating Room nursing experience.
Previous travel nursing experience required.
Level I Trauma Center experience required.
Strong OR clinical and technical skills.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Burn Center experience preferred.
Additional perioperative certifications (CNOR preferred).
Experience with a wide variety of surgical specialties.
