Set up and prepare welding equipment, tools, and materials. Perform MIG, TIG, stick, or flux-core welding (depending on project needs). Read, understand, and follow blueprints, work orders, and welding specifications. Inspect welds for quality and ensure parts meet blueprint tolerances. Perform grinding, fitting, and basic fabrication as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding work area. Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop policies. Complete daily production logs, inspection forms, or other paperwork as required. High school diploma or GED required; welding certification or technical training preferred. Prior welding experience (MIG, TIG, stick, or flux-core) in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial setting. Skilled in using welding equipment, grinders, measuring tools, and hand/power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, stand, and move throughout the shift.
