• The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the community during evening and overnight hours. This role includes patrolling both the interior and exterior of the property, monitoring for and reporting any suspicious activity, and providing assistance to residents, visitors, and team members. The Security Guard helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment while protecting the well-being of the community and its residents.

Conduct regular inspections and patrols of the community premises, both interior and exterior.

Authorize entry in accordance with community protocols.

Observe, document, and report any suspicious activity or behaviors.

Ensure all exits, doors, and windows are properly secured.

Monitor surveillance systems for unusual activity.

Provide assistance to residents, visitors, and team members as needed.

Prepare and submit detailed reports on daily surveillance activities.

Document and escalate all incidents of suspicious activity.

Comply with all Cogir Senior Living policies and procedures.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Must meet all state licensing requirements for security personnel.

Previous security or related experience is required.

Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Must be at least 18 years old.
