Buyer/Purchasing Associate

Ferguson Industrial has a position open for a Buyer Associate to provide procurement expertise and customer service functions working on site with a team at our customer location in New Albany, OH.

Perform a range of procurement activities
Monitor inventory and manage product shortages
Drafts procurement reports, analyses inventory and project utilization, and recommends useful insights.
Manage freight billing and audit processes
Maintain good customer and supplier relations
Reconcile customer problems
Previous experience in a buyer role preferred
Proven ability to follow documented procedures
Knowledge of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) products is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Strong customer service skills and problem-solving proficiency
