Warehouse Person I (2nd Shift)

Warehouse Worker Job Description The primary responsibility of a warehouse worker is to efficiently manage the receiving, storing, and issuing of materials and equipment from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.

Pack and unpack items for stocking on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.

Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations.

High school diploma or GED required.

• Proficiency in using an RF scanner and inventory management.
• Ability to lift, scan, pick, pack, audit, and perform shipping and receiving tasks.
• Ability to work on feet for up to 10-hour shifts.
• English language proficiency.

Work Environment This position is within a clean, climate-controlled Walgreens MicroFulfillment Center facility. The work schedule is a second shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM on Friday and Sunday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Liberty, MO.
