As a Security Officer Screening Patrol in Austell GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct screening activities and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible to help to deter incidents assist with routine patrols and contribute to a caring agile and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures post orders and when appropriate emergency response activities.
Screen employees visitors packages and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report observations through required documentation and/or communication channels.
Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or authorizations and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter with attention to screening areas shipping and receiving zones and other high-traffic operational spaces.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
