About the Position
An excellent locum opportunity for a Family Practice physician is available in an outpatient primary care setting in Southern Virginia . This role offers a balanced schedule of three days per week , making it ideal for physicians seeking flexibility while maintaining meaningful patient care.
The physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and management of common acute and chronic conditions. Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages
Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic medical conditions
Conduct routine physicals and preventive health screenings

Maintain accurate documentation within the clinic’s EMR system
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
Schedule

• 3 days per week
• Day shift outpatient clinic coverage

Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Active and unrestricted medical license (Virginia preferred or ability to obtain)
Active DEA registration
Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
