Job Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Emergency Nursing
Schedule:
Variable shifts - 3x12 hours: Day/Eve flex (0700, 0900, 1100, 1300, or 1500).
Assignment Details:
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements:

• Current RN license in the State.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required.
• Previous clinical experience desired.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon arrival, including vital signs and medical history.
• Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition, ensuring critical cases are attended first.
• Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as per physician orders.
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and responses to care accurately.
• Ensure that patients' rights, dignity, and preferences are respected during care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must participate in required education for relevant programs as applicable to position.
• Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.
