Operations Supervisor

Come join one of the largest transportation organizations in all of North America! First Student is currently hiring for an Operations Supervisor. In this role you will focus on supervising day to day operations of our buses. As well as schedule the maintenance and fueling of the buses! Medical, Dental, Vision, & 401(k)

• Paid holidays and PTO
• 8-hour shift starting at 7:00 am
• Coordinates field trips by the assignment of personnel and vehicles.

Ensures that drivers follow through with scheduled fueling and mechanical work

Assists Location Manager during training session and kick off meetings.

May interact with school officials on routine matters at smaller bus locations.

May drive bus on occasion if necessary.

May manage small locations under the overall direction of the Location Manager

Ensures that routes meet state, local, and vendor requirements.

Reviews time sheets prior to submission to payroll.

Willing to obtain CDL (we train!)
