Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Courtyard by Marriott in Mendota Heights, MN. This position oversees daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance activities to ensure smooth and efficient service. The Operations Manager monitors staffing levels, supports scheduling, and provides hands-on leadership and coaching to team members. Responsibilities include maintaining brand standards, managing guest feedback, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with department heads to improve service quality and productivity. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, assisting with budgeting and cost control, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and compliant work environment. Qualifications Experience in hotel or hospitality operations, with a focus on front office, housekeeping, and guest services. Skills in team leadership, staff scheduling, performance management, and coaching. Ability to manage day-to-day operational workflows, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset and professional demeanor. Competence in basic financial oversight, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting. Familiarity with hotel property management systems and standard office software tools. Proven ability to handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery in a calm, solutions-focused manner. Knowledge of safety, security, and compliance practices in a hospitality environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Previous supervisory experience in hospitality or a related service industry; associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
