As a member of the Division of Student Life Human Resources Team, the HR Generalist will function as a business partner with the departments and units they serve. This position will be responsible for executing a wide range of HR responsibilities from a collaborative, customer-service oriented perspective. The HR Generalist will be expected to assist with ensuring the Division of Student Life is making forward progress toward becoming a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization through advocacy and demonstrating divisional values in their interactions with all constituents. This position will advise and assist their customer areas on HR policies and practices, including but not limited to employee labor relations, payroll, timekeeping, leaves of absence, benefits, and workers compensation.
A Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the position; Experience (typically 3 years or more) performing Human Resources responsibilities, including conducting confidential investigations, in an HR role or HR environment.
