Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit during overnight shifts
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or a compact state
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required prior to submission
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or related nursing specialty
Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to qualify as a travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and electronic health record systems
