• This position delivers appropriate and safe medical care in an efficient and cost effective manner, among a team of multidisciplinary health care professionals. PharmD from a College of Pharmacy accredited by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, or equivalent clinical experience required.

Current Montana State Board of Pharmacy, Registered Pharmacist License required.

Accurate data entry skills, analytical and advanced math skills required.

Must work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Performs daily review of pharmacy reports including pharmacokinetic monitoring as applicable to assigned area(s).

Documents clinical interventions appropriately in electronic medical record.

Implements all drug use policy and formulary decisions of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee.

Supports and precepts pharmacy students on practice rotations as applicable to assigned area(s).

Assesses and evaluates the medical and drug literature. Develops and participates in operational and clinical projects as determined by departmental needs and ongoing projects as applicable to assigned area(s).

Supervises the pharmacy technicians as applicable to assigned area(s). Serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students on rotations as applicable to assigned area(s).

Maintains pharmacy knowledge through continuing education and applies new principles to current practice as needed.

Exhibits knowledge of policies and procedures as they relate to job duties and HIPPA.

Shift: Variable (United States of America)

Schedule: PRN - scheduled as needed, variable shifts. Shifts could be Monday - Saturday and be 8 or 10 hours in length. Closed on Sundays.
