A well-established neuroscience program in the Palm Beach area is seeking a full-time Cognitive Neurologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary brain and spine care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a fellowship-trained neurologist with a passion for dementia, neurodegenerative disease, and memory disorders to practice in a high-volume, academically active environment in coastal South Florida. Position overview Full-time clinical opportunity focused on cognitive neurology and memory disorders in an outpatient setting with access to advanced neurodiagnostic resources.Join a large, well-supported team of more than two dozen neurologists and neurospecialists, plus a robust group of advanced practice providers across multiple sites in Broward and Palm Beach counties.Practice in a modern neuroscience facility featuring a dedicated neuroscience ICU, advanced neuroimaging (including intraoperative MRI and CT), and a biplane angiography suite to support comprehensive brain and spine care.Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, neuropsychology, and rehabilitation specialists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. Clinical focus Evaluate and manage patients with cognitive decline, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other neurodegenerative and memory disorders.Lead comprehensive cognitive assessments, diagnostic workups, and longitudinal management plans for complex memory and behavioral neurology cases.Participate in multidisciplinary memory care conferences and collaborate with neuropsychology and therapy services to optimize patient outcomes.Opportunity to engage in quality initiatives, clinical program development, and community education related to cognitive health and aging.Academic and teaching environmentThe program maintains academic affiliations with regional medical schools, offering opportunities to teach residents and medical students in neurology and related disciplines.Recent expansion includes a neurology residency program, creating additional options for involvement in didactics, bedside teaching, and mentorship for trainees.Physicians interested in academic pursuits will find support for scholarly activities such as quality improvement projects, presentations, and collaboration in research initiatives. Candidate profile MD or DO from an accredited institution with completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).Additional fellowship training in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry, Cognitive Neurology, or Memory Disorders is required.UCNS certification in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry is preferred but not required.Strong knowledge base in dementia evaluation, neurodegenerative diseases, cognitive decline, and multidisciplinary memory care.Eligible for or holding an active, unrestricted Florida medical license and able to complete standard credentialing requirements.Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care, professional communication, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
