Registered Nurse - MedSurg Medical Stroke Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

The Registered Nurse will be part of the MedSurg Medical Stroke Unit, responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with stroke and other medical conditions in an acute care setting. The RN will monitor patient progress, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Monitor and assess patients' conditions regularly.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Document all patient interactions and care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, Epic.

Current Registered Nurse license.

BLS (AHA) certification required.

Experience with stroke care and NIHSS certification is a plus.

Experience with Epic EMR and travel nursing is highly preferred.
