Travel Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery

Travel Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Provide high-risk obstetric care to laboring women and newborns while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-risk obstetric nursing care to laboring women and newborns, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols

Collaborate with OB techs, providers, and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care

Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal assessments using monitoring equipment to detect complications promptly

Assist in procedures such as c-sections, cervical exams, and postpartum recoveries

Document patient information accurately in the EPIC charting system and ensure compliance with facility policies

Qualifications:

Valid nursing degree from an accredited program

BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications

Minimum of 1 year of recent high-risk obstetric nursing experience

Ability to float seamlessly between units

Excellent communication skills

Physical stamina to handle demanding shifts

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
