Shift Information
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Required Start Dates: 11/16, 11/30, 12/14
Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Must work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week cycle and at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend.
Qualifications

• AHA BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• 2+ years of concurrent experience in specialty required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required travel experience (not applicable for LVNs/MAs)
• Experience with Epic or combined Epic/Cerner preferred
• California RN License required at the time of submittal

Skills and Experience
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
Aneurysms and repair
BiPAP/CPAP management
Blood product administration
Cardiac telemetry
Chest tube management
Management of dysrhythmias
Oxygen administration
Telemetry - remote monitoring
Wound care and wound vac management
Floating to like units or lower acuity units as needed
Unit and Patient Care Details
Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Daily Census: Varies across the system
Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy
Patient Diagnoses: Varies (Ortho/General/Urology/Tele/Trauma)

Orientation Hours: 36 hours
Float Requirements: Required to float down and across the organization to like units or lower acuity units, excluding the ED.
