Salesperson - Full-Time Retail

Base Pay This role has a minimum base pay from $15.00 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience.

Purpose Floor & Decor’s Sales Associates play a key role in continuously providing customers with friendly, accurate service and support in finding products to complete their project. Our Sales Associates contribute to a fast-paced, safe environment by keeping sales departments clean and well stocked. Qualities We Look For Friendly and enthusiastic

Essential Job Functions Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products, and excite customers about their purchase.

Provide above-and-beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.

Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.

Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.

Process customers at checkout using point of sale (POS) system.

Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.

Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.

Create price tags and merchandise signs. Stock, tag and display merchandise.

Answer telephone according to company guidelines.

Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements Must be 18 years or older.

Customer service experience.

Some positions may require completion of forklift certifications through Floor & Decor.

Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

Additional Information Store Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
