Virtual Secretaries Assistance | Remote

Summary This position is located in Oklahoma City VAMC, and serves as a principle clerical assistant to the Chief of Medical Administration Service and the Assistant Chief of Medical Administration Service. Typing, edits letters, compose letters and reposts, reviews correspondence for proper attachments, or consolidating/coordinating submittals of information. Advises supervisor of important office issues arising during the supervisor's absence, and brings significant item in reports, files and correspondence to the supervisor's attention. Reviews outgoing correspondence and reports for proper format, accuracy, and all coordination of facts in accordance with established policy. Responsible for printing the Gains & Losses report from VistA for Pentad & Medical Center leadership on a daily basis. Makes arrangements for meetings and conferences, prepares travel orders and vouchers. Establishes and maintain files, prepares correspondence, and maintains office supplies. Enters schedules, daily time posting, premium pay requests, and associated leave according to data input on VATAS Timekeeper and maintains time and attendance for commonly used pay plans and types of leave or limited special pay situations. Reviews VATAS reports for appropriate entries, approval, and documentation such as medical certificates for sick leave.
