Full-Time Advocate
Virtual Vocations Inc
To promote favorable relationships with patients, providers, and payers, the full-time Patient Advocate I will manage inquiries and complaints regarding billing and claims, ensuring prompt and courteous resolutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
Respond to incoming calls and written inquiries from patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing and claims
Document customer interactions and resolutions in the system, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to company policies
Identify and communicate complaint patterns to management while meeting customer satisfaction and productivity standards
Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in health or business administration preferred
Minimum of 1 year of customer service or billing collections experience preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Knowledge of insurance processing and general laws related to payers
Proficient in using IDX practice management system and basic knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and ASA codes Virtual Vocations Inc
