Position Summary
Each hire will have a good basic understanding of all the various aspects of our office work. This means that all hires will be comfortable with customer service responsibilities, expected to work front desk shifts, answer phone calls, and work as needed during major office events. As Office Manager, Amanda Watkins will supervise each hire to make sure that schedules, desk coverage, and time sheet needs are appropriately met. Each hire will have an area of specialization in which they will complete the majority of their work. Hires will be able to have a high degree of ownership in their area, and work under an office staff advisor to exercise creativity when completing assignments. The office staff advisor and hire will meet weekly to discuss tasks and make work plans. A brief description of each specialization area is outlined below.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position will focus on service related initiatives. Responsibilities could include: promoting and tracking service hours on GivePulse, coordinating with The Big Event planning committee, communicating and supporting service related RSOs such as Relay for Life and others, and tracking and awarding the volunteer service cords.
