Description of Work
This is a Charge/Float Registered Nurse position covering facilities located in the Central Region. The role provides professional nursing care, assessment, intervention, and management of offenders in accordance with nursing standards and agency regulations. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessment and intervention for patients, including sick call, physician assistance, medication preparation and administration, emergency response, mental and dental health care, communicable disease monitoring, chronic disease clinic conduct, and physical exam updates.
Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans and facilitating education and delegation to other staff.
Supervising subordinate staff as required and maintaining compliance with facility policies.
Providing staffing coverage across multiple facilities including Dan River, Caswell, Randolph, Orange, Anson, Charlotte Center for Transition, North Piedmont CRV and others in the Central Region.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities / Management Preferences
Preferred skills:
Documented knowledge and skill in nursing theory, techniques, and practices.
Minimum Education and Experience
Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina with one year of nursing experience.

Salary Range: $59,732 - $98,557
