Machinist - 1st shift (Permanent Position)

CNC Mill and Laser Machine OperatorWe are seeking a skilled CNC Mill and Laser Machine Operator to set up and operate our 3-axis Haas CNC mill. You will be responsible for making G+M edits to adjust feeds and speeds, running production while maintaining precision, and conducting first-article and in-process inspections using micrometers and calipers. Additionally, you will troubleshoot machine and process issues, handle routine maintenance, and keep your area organized while communicating job status to leadership.ResponsibilitiesSet up 3-axis Haas CNC mill with Haas Control, including fixturing, tooling, work and tool offsets, and program prove-out.Make G+M edits to adjust feeds and speeds.Run production and ensure precision with ±.Conduct first-article and in-process inspections using micrometers and calipers.Communicate job status to leadership on the shop floor.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading blueprints and mechanical assembly.Experience with laser operation and machine setup.Skillful in using micrometers, calipers, and conducting inspections.Ability to read and interpret blueprints for laser cutting.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Mills.Enjoy exceptional benefits and PTO, along with a raise once permanent.
