Transportation Dispatcher / Logistics

We are searching for an experienced Logistics Coordinator for our client on the Northside of Jacksonville. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating delivery and pickup activities, managing freight tracing, and addressing any service issues throughout the day. They serve as a key point of contact between customers and internal operations, ensuring excellent service and communication throughout the transportation process. We are looking for an experienced individual who has exceptional Customer Service skills and is comfortable working in a FAST PACED logistics environment!
23 - $25 per hour
shift: Confirms drivers have the right equipment for their pick-ups

• Manages freight volume if issues arise
• Monitors equipment to move it as quickly as possible to reduce per diem costs for empty

equipment

• Performs or serves as back up for yard checks
• Monitors on-time performance
• Prepares tracking reports for customers
• Issues disciplinary action for drivers that violate company policy; regarding hiring and firing of drivers as needed
• Communicates with customers and customer service management regarding scheduling

appointments and problems that arise with pick-up or delivery of loads; customer is satisfied

• Enters customer loads into system; Coordinates with vendors for equipment repairs
• Coordinates with other terminals to meet customer needs and ensure all pick-ups are made
