Duties & Responsibilities HR Compliance & Policy

* Respond to customer inquiries according to established guidelines.
Payroll & Time Reporting

* Process standard bi-weekly and monthly payroll/timesheets, addressing common timesheet/leave issues and return timesheets/leave requests as needed. Inform staff of basic regulations/policies relating to time reporting and payroll deadlines.
Maintain and update employee appointments, processing transactions and responding to customer inquiries under established guidelines.

* Compile information with responsibility for accurate data entry and correction of minor discrepancies.
Report significant leave discrepancies to higher level staff for research.

* Inform staff of basic regulations/policies relating to leave usage.
High school diploma or equivalent
# Course work in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- Progressively more responsible work experience maintaining, monitoring, and/or processing human resource records and reports
Ability to provide customer service to a broad range of clients.
Ability to gain knowledge of University and Campus policies related to Human Resources, including but not limited to those listed in the Campus Administrative Manual, Provost's Communications, and Policies and Rules.
Ability to swiftly learn and adapt to multiple technology application platforms.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
