Material Handler Position 3rd shift 12a-8a$18.59/hour Forklift experience required

The Material Handler maintains material requirements for all production needs.

A Material Handler in a manufacturing setting is responsible for the timely and efficient movement of raw materials, components, and finished products within the production facility.

Material Handler Essential Functions Reads production schedule and determines material requirements for production.

Moves materials and containers from storage or work sites to designated areas to meet requirements of production schedule.

Identifies materials and containers with suitable tags or labels.

Cleans work areas, machines, and equipment to assist operators.

Loads loose materials into hoppers and containers.

Mix materials according to product requirements.

Performs other duties that may be assigned.

Material Handler Required Experience Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Able to operate forklift.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Frequently required walking and reaching with hands and arms.

Occasionally required to climb or balance.

Material Handler Physical Demands and Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Frequently required lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
