About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53701!
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry inpatient setting
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications

Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license required
BLS certification required - American Heart Association (AHA) only
Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty
EPIC experience required
Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms on the adult exam; travelers have up to three attempts)
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation
Experience floating across units in a high-acuity inpatient setting
