Regional provider of technology solutions to clients in Virginia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician to join our team. As a Consulting Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-end surveillance systems, CCTV, and other security equipment. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of technology, networking, and communication systems.
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV, access control, and other security systems.
Conduct site surveys to determine the optimal placement of security equipment.
Prepare detailed reports on installation activities and any identified security risks.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in surveillance and security technology.
Ensure all installations are completed on time and within the agreed budget.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines during installation procedures.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Surveillance/CCTV/Security Installation Technician or a similar role in the Tech Services industry.
Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV and other security systems.
Excellent knowledge of computer systems, networking, and communication systems.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
A professional certification in network security or a related field would be an advantage.
