Job Description We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for a retail business in Calabasas, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for visitors and callers while keeping the reception area running smoothly. The role requires strong communication skills, confidence handling a multi-line phone system, and the ability to speak fluently in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors professionally and create a positive first impression at the front desk.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line switchboard, directing each call to the appropriate person or department.
• Respond to inbound phone inquiries clearly and courteously while taking accurate messages when needed.
• Support day-to-day reception activities such as monitoring the front area and assisting with basic administrative tasks.
• Communicate with Spanish-speaking callers and guests to ensure smooth and effective service.
• Maintain an orderly reception space and help coordinate visitor flow throughout the day.
• Previous experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone system or switchboard handling up to 10 lines.
• Strong verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented and friendly phone manner.
• Experience answering and routing inbound calls accurately and efficiently.
• Spanish language skills with the ability to assist bilingual callers or visitors.
• Dependable organizational skills and the ability to manage part-time front-desk responsibilities effectively.
