TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26505!

Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown
Contract (13 weeks, possible extension) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Weekdays and some weekends | Onsite
Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit setting with varying patient acuity, including patients who may be classified as Progressive Care or Telemetry level in larger facilities
Maintain a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, with flexibility to 1:5 during emergencies
Perform IV insertions and monitor telemetry, including reading and interpreting cardiac strips
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR
Active RN license in West Virginia or a Compact state (pending license accepted at time of submission)
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting and 2 years in a Stepdown unit
Proficiency in IV insertion and telemetry monitoring, including cardiac strip interpretation
Experience with Cerner EMR
Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Prior travel nursing experience
Familiarity with blocked scheduling, particularly weekend blocks (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday)
PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), if required by the unit
Opportunity to work in a dynamic Stepdown unit with a diverse patient acuity range and potential for contract extension
