RN - Orthopedics/Surgery Nights

The Orthopedic Med/Surg Overflow RN provides specialized nursing care for patients recovering from bone and joint reconstructive surgery, joint replacements, orthopedic trauma, and sports injuries. This role involves remote telemetry monitoring and collaborative team-based patient care during night shifts.

Assess patient condition and Monitor cardiac telemetry to detect arrhythmias and significant changes.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient data accurately in Cerner, ensuring compliance with facility standards.
Float within scope to meet operational needs and support other units as required.

Hold a valid RN license, with WV or Compact license; Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1+ years in orthopedics or med/surg specialty.
Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, IV starts, and orthopedic clinical skills.
Have reliable references from managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years.
Capable of working 36 or 48 hours per week with night shift availability.
