Full-Time Attorney

Company Description Davis Bucco & Makara is a Philadelphia-area law firm, established in 1990, that focuses on serving participants in the construction industry, including contractors, design professionals, owners, developers, and trade associations. The firm provides comprehensive legal services across the Mid-Atlantic region, excluding tax matters, with strengths in construction, commercial, and labor law. Its attorneys support clients with dispute avoidance, litigation, contract development, labor relations, transactions, and business formation. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Attorney role based in Conshohocken, PA. The Attorney will manage a caseload focused primarily on construction, commercial, and labor and employment matters, including contract drafting and review, dispute resolution, and litigation support. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, briefs, and opinions, preparing and reviewing contracts and transaction documents, and providing practical legal advice to clients. The Attorney will participate in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances, as well as collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies. Additional duties may include supporting business development, maintaining strong client relationships, and staying current with relevant laws and regulations in the construction and labor sectors.

Strong foundation in Law, with experience in construction law and commercial litigation.

• Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, particularly as it relates to the construction industry.
• Proven ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to a diverse client base.
• Advanced Research skills, including legal research, issue spotting, and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
