Operations Supervisor - Full Time 3rd Shift (nights)

Job Appointment:Full-Time
Position responsible for covering vacation shifts and will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. This position also works outdoors in all weather conditions and involves frequent interaction with potentially disruptive members of the public; The duties of this position entail office duties and incident response on the streetcar system in city-owned vehicles.

The City of Portland is seeking aPortland Streetcar Operations Supervisor in the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT). The Portland Streetcar Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling the daily operations, and assigning the work of TriMet personnel engaged in the daily operation of Portland streetcar vehicles.
Provide in-person customer service and professional response to difficult passenger situations.

• Lead investigations and collect documents related to accidents and other service disruptions, in conjunction with ODOT SSO guidelines.
• and responding to, day, evening or weekend operational problems or emergencies as required.
• Perform monthly required check rides and support other Rule Compliance Plan activities.
