Job Responsibilities

Design Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies that enable them to achieve their functional aspirations.
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Use evidence-based practices to improve patients' movement, cognitive skills, and daily activities.
Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with occupational therapists, physicians, physical therapists, nurses, and speech therapists to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Educate Patients and Families: Teach caregiving techniques and therapy exercises to ensure ongoing progress and empowerment at home.
Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track.
Education and Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
