Surgical RN - OR
Requirements

• Active RN license in the state
• 3 years clinical RN experience
• 3 years of surgical/OR experience
• Travel RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Phlebotomy and IV placement competencies required

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage anesthetic needs during surgery.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
• Participate in surgical procedures across various disciplines including general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and GYN/urology.

Compliance / Notes

• Minimal RTO allowed; candidates with more than 10 days RTO cannot be submitted.
• Pre-start modules required; up to 5 hours billable.
• Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
