A position that is: Hourly, Full time (First Shift) Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, reliable inventory across warehouses and production operations. This role supports daily inventory management through cycle counting, reconciliation, and system transactions while maintaining strong data integrity. Working closely with warehouse, production, quality, and supply chain teammates, this position helps ensure materials are available to meet customer and operational needs. The Inventory Control Specialist investigates discrepancies, identifies root causes, and drives continuous improvement in inventory processes. This teammate helps create a safe, efficient, and well-organized operation aligned with Our Values.
Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy
Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes to resolve issues in a timely manner
Complete system transactions including transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations across locations
Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP or warehouse management systems
Support physical inventory processes including planning, execution, and reconciliation
Review production schedules and shipping activity to ensure material availability
Coordinate rework, reclaim, and slow-moving inventory processes to optimize inventory health
Maintain and update inventory control procedures and work instructions
Communicate inventory issues and recommend process improvements to leadership
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
High school diploma or equivalent

Experience and/or Training:
~ Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environment

Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days

Understanding of inventory management principles and material flow
Experience using ERP systems, WMS platforms, or inventory tracking tools
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Experience supporting multi-site or third-party inventory operations
HAZMAT or regulatory shipping experience
Physical, Mental, Environmental Demands :
Ability to lift and move materials up to 60 pounds and occasionally push or pull heavier loads
Operation of forklifts and warehouse equipment as needed
Work performed in warehouse and production environments with temperature variation
Exposure to dust, fumes, and moving equipment
