RDA with Radiology

Cumberland Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, an affiliate of CHORD Specialty Dental Partners, has an immediate opportunity available for a Orthodontic Dental Assistant!

We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can grow and develop your skills while making a positive impact on patient's oral health.
Must be able to work in a pediatric, child-friendly environment
Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirement
Charting all existing/missing teeth, existing restorations, and/or dental procedures
Obtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possible
scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer
Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state
Current State of TN RDA License
Polishing and Radiology Certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification Preferred
Dental office experience preferred
Since this position does require working with children, a criminal background check will be required.
