Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Tele (MSU) unit in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves providing high-quality inpatient care with cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and support for medically complex patients.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg Tele unit (MSU)
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
Respond to rapid response and code situations
Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy (required competency)
Maintain peripheral IV line care and management
Administer oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support
Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
Maintain patient safety with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Document all care accurately in EPIC system
Float to similar units based on skillset
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Required Qualifications

Active New York State RN License (non-compact state)
Minimum recent acute care experience required
BLS certification required
Strong experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing
Cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation required
IV insertion and phlebotomy competency required
Experience with rapid response/code situations
EPIC EMR experience required
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to float within scope of practice
