Prairie Band Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team in Manassas, Virginia. This position is based at our onsite rehabilitation facility, which is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a welcoming atmosphere designed to promote healing and recovery. Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, particularly those recovering from injury, disease, or surgical procedures.
Create and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating a variety of modalities such as exercise, manual therapy, and advanced therapeutic equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
Monitor and document each patient's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
Educate patients and their families on the best practices for self-care and rehabilitation techniques to ensure optimal recovery.
Provide training on the use of assistive devices and therapeutic equipment to both patients and care teams to foster independence in daily living activities.
Stay abreast of advancements in the field by participating in educational workshops, professional development opportunities, and relevant certifications.
As a Physical Therapist at Prairie Band Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient demographic that includes children, adults, and seniors with a range of conditions requiring rehabilitation. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
Current and valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
Strong organizational skills with proficiency in computer and documentation systems.
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is preferred.
Previous experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
