HR Director
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
A skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all human resources functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with facility leadership, supporting employees, and helping build a strong workplace culture.
Responsibilities

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives
Manage employee relations and serve as a resource for staff and management
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Administer benefits, leave management, and company policies
Assist department leaders with performance management and disciplinary processes
Coordinate employee orientation and training programs
Conduct workplace investigations and resolve employee concerns
Support payroll and personnel reporting processes
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
Qualifications

Previous HR leadership experience required
Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, or healthcare experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and employee relations
Experience with recruitment and staff retention strategies
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation

• $65,000 - $75,000 per year
