Cardiac Registered Nurse Part Time Night Shift

Med Surg/Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity
HSHS St. Mary's Hospital is seeking a Med Surg/Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intermediate Care unit. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. New grads are welcomed to apply. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
Position Specifics:
Hospital undergoing $90M renovation with brand new state of the art units!
Department: Med Surg/Cardiac approximately 31 beds, 1:6 RN ratio max, care for majority of cardiac population in hospital (drips nitro titratable, heparin, amiodarone, Cardizem, milrinone, dobutamine, Lasix), pre/pos procedure care (heart cath, GI procedure, ortho, etc.
Schedule: Full-Time Nights (3x12 5:45pm-6:15am) with every other weekend rotation and alternate holidays

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
Compensation that aligns with experience. Shift differentials for night, weekend, and call on top of base rate!
Education Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
~ Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Pay Range: $34.00 - $51.00
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
