Class Actions Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)Full-Time | In OfficeMW Talent is partnering with a successful, large, and well-established law firm to identify a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its Complex Litigation and Advisement Practice Group. This group serves as a one-stop shop for industry leaders across consumer products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, established and emerging technologies, financial products and services, and other regulated industries.The team has a long-standing track record of handling high-stakes, sophisticated class action matters that directly impact a company's brand reputation, business model, and bottom line.Work EnvironmentThis is a 100% in-office position. Remote or hybrid work is not available.New York, NYAdditional office locations: Los Angeles, CA San Francisco, CA San Diego, CACandidates must be able to work in one of the listed office locations.Who You AreYou are a high-performing associate with 3–5 years of post-law school experience handling complex class action litigation.Required Experience & Qualifications• MUST have experience defending consumer class actions, including false advertising, product defect, breach of warranty, and violations of consumer protection laws • MUST have experience with California Unfair Competition Law • MUST have experience briefing class certification and/or summary judgment • Drafting briefs, legal correspondence, and responding to written discovery • Conducting depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews • Managing e-discovery • MUST be an active member in good standing of the California Bar or New York Bar • Law school class years 2021–2023 (or equivalent experience range)Skills & Attributes• Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong case management skills • Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset • Ability to manage sophisticated matters in a fast-paced, in-office environmentCompensation & BenefitsAnnual salary range: $401(k) and Roth 401(k) plans HSA and FSA options Global wellness and employee assistance programs Paid primary state bar dues and select professional association memberships Dedicated in-house pro bono support Matching gift programs for charitable and law school donations
