```htmlJob Opportunity – Emergency Department Holding RN (Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool) – North Carolina Start Date: October 19, 2026
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM. Every other weekend required. Must be available for holiday coverage. Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract.
Emergency Department inpatient holding area supporting patients awaiting hospital beds with medical/surgical and telemetry diagnoses

• may include PCU-level patients at 1:3-1:4 ratios
• Float pool position with flexibility to support Emergency Department and Med/Surg areas as needed across multiple campuses
• Epic charting system with standard cardiac monitoring equipment and IV pumps
• 12 hours of unit orientation provided; 8-10 hours of pre-start online modules required
• Fast-paced environment requiring strong IV skills, telemetry interpretation, and critical thinking abilities

Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Med/Surg Telemetry and Emergency Department holding experience required
Epic charting system experience preferred
Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and blood product administration
Must pass facility EKG testing prior to start date
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Ability to complete required laboratory testing and pre-employment requirements within 48 hours of offer acceptance
