Director of Operations - Amazing company, looking for the "right" candidate to jump in - hit the ground running! Test Measurement equipment / Semi Conductor

A rapidly growing global technology and manufacturing organization is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a critical Silicon Valley operation. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the President and will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening organizational alignment, developing leaders, and helping guide the company through an exciting period of growth fueled by demand in the semiconductor, electronics, and AI markets.

This is more than a traditional operations role. We are looking for a proven site leader who can unite teams, lead change, create accountability, and build a culture of collaboration across manufacturing, quality, warehouse, logistics, and process improvement functions.

What You’ll Do Provide overall operational leadership for a large manufacturing facility.

Drive process improvement, efficiency, quality, and operational performance.

Partner closely with executive leadership on site strategy and business objectives.

Lead change management initiatives and help drive company growth.

Create and improve SOPs, operational metrics, executive reporting, and business reviews.

Champion employee engagement, safety awareness, and a high-performance culture.

Strong change management and organizational transformation experience.

Experience managing employee performance, coaching leaders, making difficult personnel decisions, and driving accountability.

Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills.

Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience with capital equipment manufacturing

Exposure to AI, semiconductor, or advanced technology sectors

They have a track record of leading managers, driving operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and partnering with executive leadership. This person is collaborative, strategic, hands-on when needed, and comfortable leading through change while maintaining focus on culture, accountability, and business results.
