Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced Human Resources department. This role will focus on employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, and HR process support. Manage the daily operations of the Human Resources department.
Recruit, interview, and support the hiring process for open positions in partnership with hiring managers.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Support HR programs related to compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and training.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit procedures.
Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
Monitor compliance with required training, certifications, and internal policies.
Process payroll-related functions and assist with HR reporting.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
Support disciplinary actions, investigations, and employee relations matters.
Manage workers’ compensation, short-term disability, and long-term disability processes.
Prepare reports and assist with HR audits, compliance reviews, and special projects.
Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
5+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; Strong knowledge of employee relations, talent acquisition, HRIS systems, and employment law compliance.
- Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems/software.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility as needed.
