Bookeeper (Accounting/Finance)

This is an excellent opportunity for a bookkeeping or accounting professional with 3– 5 years of experience who wants to expand their skills, learn the financial side of the construction industry, and gain hands-on exposure to project-based accounting, job costing, and financial reporting.

You will work closely with an experienced team while supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end processes. Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately
Maintain and update financial records and general ledger entries
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and account summaries
Support payroll processing and documentation as needed
Review financial records for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
Qualifications

• 3– 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and reconciliations
• Associate’ s or Bachelor’ s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Bookkeeping Certification and/or CPB Certification
• QuickBooks Certification and/or FPC Certification
• Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Journal Entries & General Ledger Maintenance
• Financial Reporting
• Data Entry Accuracy
• Time Management & Organization
• QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office proficiencyCompensation & Benefits
